HANIF PATNI
HANIF PATNI – PRESIDENT & CEO

Hanif has 25 years of experience with ground transportation companies in several countries around the world. He studied at the London School of Business and has an MBA from the University of British Columbia. He has been President and CEO of Coventry Connections since 2002.

MARC ANDRE WAY
MARC ANDRÉ WAY – VICE PRESIDENT & COO

Marc André has 25 years of experience in ground transportation, especially operating taxi and limousine/executive sedan firms. He has also run real estate and corporate finance businesses. He has a bachelor of commerce from the University of Ottawa, with a specialty in marketing, management and finance.

CLARE PAMA
CLARE PAMA – Chief Financial Officer

Clare has 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting with over 10 years at a senior level. Before coming to Coventry she worked in various industries including, Hi-Tech, Not for Profit, Property Management, Travel and Hospitality. Clare is a member of the Certified Managements Accountants of Ontario and has recently completed her CPA, CMA Designation. Clare has various leadership and communication awards from Toastmasters.

SARAH O'CONNOR
SARAH O’CONNOR – EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & MARKETING COORDINATOR

Sarah has a decade of experience in the automotive industry and in the moving and storage business. More recently, she worked in office management positions in the federal government. At Coventry, Sarah has been instrumental in producing and coordinating the company’s creative image.

AGNE BUTKUTE
AGNE BUTKUTE – EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & INFORMATION COORDINATOR

Agne has over 6 years experience of Customer Service experience in an executive environment. Prior to working with Coventry, Agne was a guest Services Representative and Auditor at Ivey Spencer Leadership Center in London, ON. Agne is currently working on a Business Accounting Diploma at Algonquin College.

TONY VANIKIOTIS
TONY VANIKIOTIS – General Manager/Directeur général, Insurance, Auto & Plate Services

Tony joined our management team in 1992 with a strong background in taxi operations and private enterprise. He was instrumental in organizing Coventry’s driver insurance program. He manages the substantial plate asset portfolio held by Coventry and is responsible for the company’s acquisitions on rolling stock. Tony also oversees Coventry’s operations in Durham Region.

JIM HIRD
JIM HIRD – DRIVER & INSURANCE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Jim is in his seventh year at Coventry. He deals with arranging driver insurance and managing the claims process. Jim also assists with issues related to Point of Sale devices in taxicabs, and various driver administration issues. He has a long and strong background in communications with Bell Mobility. Jim graduated from Algonquin College specializing in retail management, earning top marks in his graduating class.

LESLIE BUCHANAN
LESLIE BUCHANAN, CPA, CGA – General Manager/Directeur général, Special Projects & Administration

Leslie has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, earning a Certified General Accountant designation in 1990. She has been with Coventry for 13 years, in the Finance Department and, more recently, Special Projects and Administration.

DALIA MAHMOUD
DALIA MAHMOUD – SPECIALTY ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

Dalia joined Coventry in 2006. She has managed the company's large accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. More recently, Dalia has helped restructure the invoicing processes of new fleets that have joined Coventry. She studied commerce, with a major in accounting.

MASOOD JAN ALI
MASOOD JAN ALI BBA – POINT OF SALE SYSTEMS OFFICER

Masood is in his 4th year at Coventry. He started his education in computer programming and IT administration. He subsequently received a degree from Bishops University in Business Administration, specializing in accounting. Masood is involved in supporting the company's Point of Sale program.

JOSEPH BOUDREAU
JOSEPH BOUDREAU – General Manager/Directeur général, IT Services

Joseph joined Coventry 13 years ago. Since then, he has been instrumental in transforming the company’s 60-year-old IT systems into one of the most advanced ground transport operations in the country. Joseph deals with network, telephony and software integration for Coventry, as well as the ZipTrack dispatching call centre and company regional offices. He holds a BA from Carleton University and several certificates from Algonquin College.

JIN ZHANG
JIN ZHANG – CONTROLLER

Jin has more than 20 years of accounting experience. She joined Coventry in 2002 as a junior accountant and was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2005. Jin is responsible for all financial reporting and budgeting. She has a BA from Nankai University in China.

MANDY FENG
MANDY FENG, CPA,CGA – ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Mandy has been with Coventry Connections since 2006. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in China, a professional accounting diploma here in Canada, and is now working toward a Certified General Accountant designation. Mandy is responsible for providing and compiling monthly financials, among other financial duties.

JOE CHARBONNEAU
JOE CHARBONNEAU – MANAGER, ACCOUNTS RECIEVEABLES

Joe has been with Coventry Connections for more than 10 years. Besides her 20-plus years of accounting experience, she has also run a successful floral business. She studied at Université de Hearst, with a concentration in French. Joe is responsible for managing a substantial portfolio of trade receivables in the company’s Taxitab division.

RANIA RAJAB
RANIA RAJAB – MANAGER, DRIVER CASHIERING SERVICES

Rania has been with Coventry since 2008. She supervises the Driver Cashiering Department, which includes a considerable number of teller-cashiers who deal with close to 3,000 drivers. She also has responsibilities in the Accounts Receivable Department.

LINA YARED
LINA YARED - MANAGER, ACCOUNT PROCESSING SERVICES

Lina has been with the Company since 2007. Lina supervises a team responsible for Accounts Receivable Processing and is responsible for all the company’s complex Account Billing functions. This includes a portfolio of over 3,000 customer accounts involving large amounts and transactions.

AMANDA MERRY
AMANDA MERRY – PAYROLL AND ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

Amanda has worked at Coventry for over 7 years. She first started in the Taxitab organization serving drivers and administering the account processing documentation. Since then, Amanda has built up considerable experience on the companies accounts payable function. She has now taken on further responsibility in undertaking the payroll function while having supervisory responsibility for AP. Amanda has deep experience with the company General Ledger activity and continues to provide guidance and support in that area when required.

COURTNEY J. FRANCIS
COURTNEY J. FRANCIS – General Manager/Directeur général, Call Centre

Courtney has worked in the taxi industry for 45 years. He has served in a number of roles, including in labour relations and public relations. He currently heads up ZipTrack, the dispatching arm of Coventry Connections. Courtney is a graduate of the University of Ottawa.

JACQUES LABAKI – General Manager/Directeur général, Fleet Operations & Driver Liason

Jacques has 13 years of experience in the taxi business, including seven years in labour relations.Jacques manages driver administration for Coventry. He also oversees the company’s operations in Niagara Region.

PATRICK MEZEI
PATRICK MEZEI, BA – MANAGER, FLEET OPERATIONS & DRIVER LIASON

Patrick started in the taxi industry in 2006 as a call taker. While getting a BA in business law from Carleton University, he worked as a dispatch supervisor and later joined the Coventry Connections management team as Assistant Manager.

Steven Deveau joined Coventry in October 2009 after 12 years with American Express. He is responsible for business development to Coventry’s taxi, limousine, executive black car and coach divisions. With his past experience in sales, marketing and business development in both the private and public sectors, Steven has a unique understanding of the marketplace.

CHRISTINE VONK – CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Christine has been with Coventry for over 30 years, first starting as a call taker in the companies dispatching department. Christine now works on resolving customer complaints and in handling the lost and found issues.

Steven Deveau
STEVEN DEVEAU – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Steven Deveau joined Coventry in October 2009 after 12 years with American Express. He is responsible for business development to Coventry’s taxi, limousine, executive black car and coach divisions. With his past experience in sales, marketing and business development in both the private and public sectors, Steven has a unique understanding of the marketplace.

Brian Fitzgerald
BRIAN FITZGERALD – REGIONAL MANAGER

Brian has managed taxi, limousine and bus fleets for over 16 years. He first started with 5-0 Transportation Group in the Niagara Region before he embarked on an aggressive up-grade of services through a consolidation process as part of Coventry. Today, Brian heads an operation that provided all types of transportation service packages. He over sees infrastructure which includes a body shop, a transmission shop, an upholstery operation, a garage and a propane fuel facilities.

Glenn Wade
GLENN WADE – ASSISTANT REGIONAL MANAGER

Glenn has managed taxi operations for 8 years, first starting at Central Taxi as a driver in 1982. Today, he has full responsibility in overseeing all the regulatory and financial compliance issues related to driver eligibility, and in completing all legal, financial and banking documentation for plate sales, and leasing of cars to our drivers. Glenn has forged a career in the Niagara Region’s transportation industry.

Chuck Lane
CHUCK LANE – DRIVER SYSTEM INTEGRITY ADMINISTRATOR

Chuck has been with the company for 29 years. He has been involved in most aspects of management, focusing on transitional integrity and financial checks & balances. Chuck is the in-house expert on reviewing integrity of trip data, ensuring fairness and the accuracy of reports from drivers.

Luminita Tomelescu
LUMINITA TOMELESCU – FLEET OPERATIONS & DRIVER LIAISON OFFICER

Luminita is responsible for driver recruitment, standards and training. She was a certified OSL fleet safety graduate and‎ worked as instructor for a commercial truck driver’s school. As Coventry's inspector, Luminita checks for car quality and cleanliness, and has applied her skills in the taxi industry for the past 2 years. Luminita is also responsible for organizing plate purchase opportunities for drivers.

CARYN PETERS
CARYN PETERS – WEDDINGS, CORPORATE & GROUP SALES SPECIALIST

Caryn specializes in arranging transportation bookings for Weddings, Special Events and Wine Tours. She has twelve years of experience in travel & transport for tourists and business visitors coming to Niagara. Caryn is responsible for quality control on bookings in black cars, limousines and buses. Prior to joining Coventry, Caryn was in the hospitality industry, establishing requirements and meeting those needs. Her goal is to have delighted customers.

Dana Arsenault
Dana Arsenault – Manager, Durham Operations

Coventry has consistently provided Durham Region Transit with taxi and para-taxi services, and much of this work is coordinated by Dana. This is the third year Dana is involved in this valuable function for our company. He coordinates the Accessible fleet and ensures that those drivers meet a higher standard of care related to moving customers that are mobility constrained.

ROY WILLIAMS
ROY WILLIAMS – Private Fleet Manager

Roy Williams has been in the taxi industry for over 35 years. He was elected to lead drivers as a union leader and while he was able to improve the livelihood of drivers, he was unsatisfied with the state of the industry in Durham Region. Over 10 years ago, Roy started working with Coventry to establish a Blue Line fleet in that area. Roy is responsible for selecting and approving drivers, and is responsible for all the garage operations in Durham Region.

MANDY CURRAN
MANDY CURRAN – Administration Officer, Blue Line Durham Region

Mandy has managed all the administrative functions at the Durham Region operation for Blue Line for eleven years. She ensures that drivers have been paid for all account work done. She administers records related to drivers and vehicles. Mandy had first-hand experience of issues on the road as she was a school bus operator prior to joining the company.

Christian Staigh

This is the 3rd year Chris is managing our Belleville Operations, having improved standards considerably on that fleet. Chris was originally from the Ottawa area where he took courses at Algonquin College before entering into the Restaurant & Hospitality business in a management capacity. Prior to that, Chris was an entrepreneur in the construction industry involved with roofing and building repair work. All this experience in working with people serves Chris well in his capacity at Central Taxi, Belleville.

JILL FOXALL
JILL FOXALL

Jill takes responsibility for dealing with Special Account Customers that require more than conventional taxi bookings. She works with Chris Staigh to develop new business opportunities and to help in getting new drivers on-board, while helping the existing fleet drivers with their business administration. She handles the Account Payable reconciliations and driver account management. Jill has a great deal of experience of past experience in working with a wide variety of clients in dental administration and in the hospitality industry.

ZIAD ADI
ZIAD ADI – AIRPORT FLEET MANAGER

Ziad has been involved in the taxi ground transportation business for thirteen years, first as a driver and later through serving two terms in cordination of services through the drivers’ union. Prior to his tenure at the Airport Fleet, Ziad was involved in the restaurant business. This combination of serving skills will be very useful as Ziad has now taken on the task of managing the fleet with an unrelenting focus on Customer Service.

DWAYNE MOSLEY
DWAYNE MOSLEY – Manager, Call Centre Operations

Dwayne has been in the transportation industry for 34 years. Starting as a taxicab driver some 30 years ago, Dwayne joined our ZipTrack dispatching service in 2011 as night team leader and moved into a managerial role in 2012.

JENNIFER HILLS
JENNIFER HILLS – TEAMLEADER, ZIPTRACK

Jen has the responsibility of managing the entire ZipTrack Call Centre as Team Leader. In over a decade of work experience at the call centre, she has built-up her reputation first as a call taker and later as a Dispatcher before taking on her latest leadership position. The pedigree of the Hills family which has been involved in taxi logistics since 1975 is what makes Jen totally dedicated to service without mistakes.

TRACY MOROZIUK – TEAMLEADER, ZIPTRACK

Tracy started at Ziptrack as a call taker in 2011 and has subsequently been promoted to the position of a Team Leader. Her previous experience was as an office administrator at Same Day World-Wide. Tracy has an Accounting and Business designation from Niagara College.
